It's been a crazy week and I've got the numbers to show for it!
I had to run out and buy more Halloween candy on Thursday night because I've been getting low so much lately, I ate most of it. But now, I've got a year's supply of candy, because Friday night, my hubby missed his bus home from work so I ended up having to drive to pick him up and missed most of the trick or treaters. I've got loads of skittles, starbursts and snickers.
The little fun packs of skittles actually work really well for my lows, they are the perfect amount of carbs and such quick sugar they bring my BG up quite nicely. Plus I happen to love skittles, but never get to eat them. I think I've found my new favorite for treating lows. I stocked up on a bunch of glucose tabs recently, but they are so nasty!!! It's hard to eat 4 of them...and sometimes you need more. Yuck! I think from now on it's skittles all the way!
My favorite are the green ones...what's yours?

Ohhh thats great! We treat Kaceys lows with Skittles too :) She loves them and it makes for a special treat...sorta like youre not even treating a serious issue. We have them stashed everywhere now LOL! Her favorite.... red all the way! :)
